The ALS (Alpha Liner System) liner is a polyester liner made of rip-stop nylon, developed by Alpha Industries for the M-65 jacket. As with the special military liners, the ALS liner is designed to be warm and can be buttoned into the M-65 field jacket. In contrast to the special military liners, the ALS liner was equipped with pockets and can also be worn as a separate jacket. The ALS liners are recognized by many international military organizations and are widely used in the commercial market.
